Starlight is a low-pressure virtual airline designed primarily as a personal logbook and structured flying space.
It favors enjoyment over enforcement and flexibility over rigid realism.
Regional-firstCharter-friendlyHuman days allowed
New: Two-lane operations.
Stay casual in SRA, or opt into structure with Charters & LUX (including LUX-1 / LUX-2 “challenge mode”).
Starlight exists to support relaxed, consistent flight simulation without turning it into work.
Real aviation already has enough pressure. This is the part where we breathe.
Valid Flights
A defined departure and arrival
A complete flight to shutdown
Honest logging of aircraft and time
Not Enforced
Landing rate limits
Route policing
Rank locks or aircraft locks
Strict fuel deviation penalties
Automation is welcome, but optional. If you flew it safely and logged it honestly, it counts.

Community & Content
Starlight is meant to feel like a calm crew room. Keep posts broadly safe-for-work and friendly to mixed audiences.
If we ever add 18+ channels, they will be clearly labeled and gated.
Allowed
Flight sim talk, screenshots, and “how do I…” questions
Light roleplay and mission flavor
Memes with airline-lounge energy
Not Allowed
Harassment, hate, or threats
Sexually explicit content
Graphic gore or shock content
Rule of thumb: if you wouldn’t show it on a jumpseat monitor with a kid behind you, don’t post it here.
Operations Lanes (Choose Your Mode)
Starlight is built for different kinds of days. You can fly casually, or opt into structure and purpose.
Both are valid. Neither is a “better” way to fly.
🌌 SRA: Starlight Regional (Default)
Low-pressure, low-commitment flying. Great for “0300 can’t sleep, need the sky” nights.
Fly what you want, when you want. Log if you feel like it.
No deadlines, no checkrides
No aircraft locks
Honest logging & good vibes
🧭 Charters & LUX: Structured (Optional)
For days you want purpose and gentle accountability. Missions have clear expectations
(aircraft class, route intent, timing windows) and a simple report afterward.
Clear constraints, not harsh enforcement
Supportive debriefs if things go sideways
Roleplay-forward, human-paced
If you miss the mark: no punishment. The default response is, “Harsh day. Want help making next time easier?”
Fleet & BYOA (Bring Your Own Aircraft)
Starlight keeps fleets broad on purpose. No 37-level unlock ladder, no tail-number assignments, and no “you must own this add-on” energy.
Pick the subfleet that fits the vibe of the flight, then fly what you have.
✅ What we use subfleets for
Organization (turboprop vs jet vs bizjet)
Route “fit” guidance (not enforcement)
Optional SimBrief defaults
🚫 What we don’t do
No required individual aircraft list
No rank-based aircraft locks
No livery policing or tail tracking
SmartCARS / ACARS logs work fine without individually registered aircraft. If it flew safely and it’s logged honestly, it counts.
Routes
These routes reflect Starlight’s regional theme. They are a guide, not a restriction.
Anything regional fits the theme. Anything plausible works.
Core Regional Routes
KGEG → KSEA
KSEA → KPDX
KPDX → KLAX
Paine Field Operations
KPAE → CYVR / CYYG / CYEG
KPAE → KGEG
Inland Northwest & Regional Ops
KGEG → KMWH, KYKM, KEAT, KPSC
Charter Logic
If you want more structure, treat a flight as a charter: choose a purpose, pick reasonable airports,
and add a one-line note in the log. No policing, just intention.
Starlight Luxury (LUX)
Starlight Luxury is an optional charter-style operation built for VIP, executive, and “high-touch” flights—
purpose-driven, roleplay-friendly, and easy to run without paid accessories.
LUX-1 / LUX-2 (Two Levels, Same Mission)
LUX-1 is easygoing and flexible. LUX-2 is “today I want structure”: time window + aircraft class + direct routing + fuel planning.
Same vibe. Same support. Just a mental toggle.
🟢 LUX-1: Fly anytime • flexible routing • comfort first
🔵 LUX-2: Target window • class specified • direct routing • plan fuel
Callsign
Use LUX when it adds immersion. Skip it when it doesn’t.
Simple RP beats perfect RP.
Example note: “LUX exec hop: late meeting reposition.” or “LUX event run: discreet arrival.”
LUX-1 / LUX-2 | [DEP] → [ARR]
Scenario: Event travel. Clean turnaround. Comfort and timing matter more than speed.
🟢 LUX-1: Any time • Any suitable aircraft • Flexible routing
🔵 LUX-2: Target [TIME WINDOW]Z • Aircraft class specified • Direct routing • Fuel plan required
Note (optional): “Event run — smooth turn, lounge energy.”
Try: “Arrive at a bigger field, depart from a smaller one.” Adds story without complexity.
Concierge Cargo (documents / parts / luggage)
LUX-1 / LUX-2 | [DEP] → [ARR]
Scenario: Concierge cargo. Time-sensitive documents/parts/luggage with white-glove handling.
🟢 LUX-1: Any time • Any suitable aircraft • Flexible routing
🔵 LUX-2: Target [TIME WINDOW]Z • Turboprop or light jet • Direct routing • Fuel plan required
Note (optional): “Concierge cargo — time-sensitive delivery.”
This one is perfect for pilots without cabin/ground add-ons. It’s “RP-light” but believable.
Discreet “Get Me Home” (human day support)
LUX-1 / LUX-2 | [DEP] → [ARR]
Scenario: “Get me home” flight. Minimal fuss. Calm, safe, comfortable.
🟢 LUX-1: Any time • Any suitable aircraft • Flexible routing
🔵 LUX-2: Target [TIME WINDOW]Z • Aircraft class specified • Direct routing • Fuel plan required
Note (optional): “Human day — quiet return home.”
This aligns beautifully with your “room for human days” brand tone.
